New Product
 Finally after many years, a new electric Aebleskiver pan is finally on the market. We have made a special purchase of these pans just in time for the holidays. If you have a ceramic stove, this might be the perfect solution for you. Or on the go? I’ve taken my electric pan to my daughter’s school and made them for her fellow teachers in the teachers lounge, nice and easy. Also a great gift for the cook who has everything.

Recipe Idea
I had company this weekend and used them as testers for a new idea. I made the mix up and added grated carrots, crushed pineapple, cinnamon and allspice. They were a big hit. Then just as an experiment we tried scrambling eggs with chives and feta cheese and cooked them in the Aebleskiver pan. Wow, a round omelet. They were pretty good and the shape was so interesting. I used a little butter in the pan instead of oil with the eggs. Let me know if you have any ideas for the pan to share with our readers.

Other News
Solvang is a thriving tourist destination. If you have never been here you should really check it out. The Solvang Chamber of Commerce is always at work trying to make it a better place to visit and host a number of wonderful events. The most recent was the SOLVANG AMAZING RACE. It was actually a town wide scavenger hunt with clues all over town that the teams had to follow. Local chamber members participated by donating items and handing out the next clues when teams would arrive. Solvang Restaurant had a team which placed 3rd overall and won first place in the Best Costume division. Check out the custom made hats, and yes, those are real Aebleskiver on the hats
At the Start, the team had a hard time navigating the town as so many tourists, with smiles on their faces, wanted pictures of this uniquely dressed group of women.
